The program of work for Contract 2 which bids are to be submitted consists of the replacement of approximately 700 existing meter assemblies and service lines and the installation of approximately 21,000 LF of new 2" and 3" water main as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications for the Rattlesnake Ridge Water District, Phase 12 - Water System Improvements All qualified bidders must purchase a set of plans and specifications and must be listed as a plan holder by the plan distributor, Lynn Imaging.Bidding Documents also may be examined at Rattlesnake Ridge Water District, 5302 South State Highway 7, Grayson, Kentucky on Mondays through Thursdays between the office hours of 9 am to 4 pm. Upon request and receipt of the document amount indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office All bids must be made on the required Bid Form and must be fully completed and executed with original signatures and corporate seals. Contract 1 is being funded by Rural Development loan/grant, Community Development Block Grant, Appalachian Regional Commission Grant. Contract 2 is being funded by Rural Development loan/grant. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron and steel: lines or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials.
