Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Buffalo, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Buffalo has identified funding for improvements to Sears Paderewski Park under the City's American Rescue Plan (ARP) and via privately-raised grants. The objective of this project is to renovate the existing park. These renovations will include the removal of existing pavement and structures and the installation of the following: concrete pavement, curbing and seatwalls, play equipment, safety surfacing, a pavilion, water service, fencing, plant beds (including bioinfiltration areas), lighting, and partial sidewalk replacement. Work will also include providing drainage infrastructure and both water and electrical service, as well as the design and engineering of a custom pavilion structure. The park area is approximately 0.26 acres, two additional adjacent lost may be added to the Park property making the total Park area approximately 0.45 acres. Engineering and Landscape Architectural Drawings to the Design Development level will be provided to the Consultant in AutoCAD, additional project information includes topographic survey, subsurface soil investigation and analytical data report. Anticipated project target dates: Start CD Phase: October 2022 Construction Start: Spring 2023 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
