Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Incline Village, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID or District) is soliciting Unit Price Bids for pavement maintenance repairs at various District Facilities. Work shall be completed by Oct. 15, 2022. As these sites are public facilities, advanced notice for scheduling is required. All activities must be scheduled through IVGID's Engineering Division, and any scheduling changes must be approved by the District. Prepare and Place crack fill throughout. Cracks up to 1.5" shall be prepared and sealed. Prepare and place Type II slurry seal in the designated areas proposed in the exhibits. Areas shall be swept and free of any debris prior to start of placement of the slurry seal. Completed work shall result in a level surface. Contractor to follow requirements of the Incline Village Ordinances and the Standard Specification for Public Works Construction (aka the Orange Book)Pavement repairs and installations at various areas as identified in the attached exhibits. Site visits are recommended. All work is weather dependent, as allowed by TRPA, Washoe County and IVGID. Preparation: Staging areas to be approved by IVGID. CONTRACTOR to supply all necessary signage, barricades, and delineation to separate work areas from the public. CONTRACTOR to make arrangements with IVGID staff for performing the work, including schedule, staging, circulation, parking and trash disposal. Use of Washoe County right-of-way subject to County approvals. Protect roadways from dust, mud and debris tracking. Cover stockpiles and implement BMP's as needed in accordance with the TRPA code of ordinances. Schedules may be eliminated from the work to accommodate schedule and budget. Licenses. Successful Bidder shall have a Washoe County business license, and all appropriate Contractor's licenses and certifications for the services to be performed. Commercial Insurance: Contractor shall procure and maintain for the duration of the contract, insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damages to property, which may arise from or in connection with the performance of the work hereunder by the Contractor, his/her agents, representatives, employees, or subcontractors. Contractor shall purchase General Liability, Auto Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Professional Liability Insurance (if applicable) coverage as required. General Liability: Contractor shall purchase General Liability including appropriate Auto Liability with a minimum of $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence, for bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. Contractor shall have a Certificate of Insurance issued to the INCLINE VILLAGE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT naming it as additional insured, and indicating coverage types, amounts and duration of the policy. Workman's Compensation: It is understood and agreed that there shall be no Industrial Insurance coverage provided for the Contractor or any Subcontractor by the District; and in view of NRS 616.280 and 617.210 requiring that Contractor comply with the provisions of Chapters 616 and 617 of NRS, Contractor shall, before commencing work under the provisions of this Agreement, furnish to the District a Certificate of Insurance from an admitted insurance company in the State of Nevada. All certificates shall provide for a minimum written notice of thirty (30) days to be provided to District in the event of material change, termination or non-renewal by either Contractor or carrier. IVGID reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and/or to waive any irregularities or formalities in evaluating and awarding the work in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes.
