Request for Qualifications For Civil Engineering Services for City of Elko for Fiscal Years 2022/2023 & 2023/2024 The City of Elko is currently soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified consultants for Civil design services for projects related to the construction, maintenance, and installation of any City infrastructure for fiscal year 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The goal of the City is to have a short list of competent and qualified engineers for City Staff to be able to select for any associated infrastructure design projects throughout the City. Professional services for upcoming projects may include, but are not limited to: roadway rehabilitation; construction of new roadways; water, sewer, and storm drain infrastructure; geotechnical investigations; hydrology studies; specifications and bid documents; project management; retaining wall design;mass grading; and representation at all project meetings. Project development may also include the preparation of schematic designs; estimates of materials, labor, and equipment needed to construct the project; all required permitting; identification of utility conflicts; coordination with utility companies; and any other items necessary to successfully develop a project. The project designs shall be in conformance with NAC, Elko City Code, and Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, latest edition, design guidelines as well as any other applicable guidelines.
