Completed plans call for the addition of a laboratory facility; for site work for a laboratory facility; for the remodel of a laboratory facility; for the renovation of a laboratory facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Base Bid Description: Existing Building: Work includes interior CMU, electrical and mechanical demolition, minor interior remodel, re-roof and replace exhaust system and upgrade building power. Connection to data in Lundberg Hall computer room is required. New Building: CMU walls with insulated furring. Steel truss and steel deck structure with classrooms and 34 booth welding lab. HVAC, welding system exhaust and fire sprinkler. Accessible ramp and parking improvements. Contract Time: 500 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $1,579.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS All bidders submitting bids to the State Public Works Division must be qualified as bidders by the State Public Works Division prior to the bid opening.
