This work consists of widening Gibson Road from existing15'-16' width to 20' width including 605' of realignment, reconstruction, and superelevation of a deficient horizontal curve. The length of Phases 3A and 3B are 2400' and 1780',respectively. Additional improvements include asphalt overlay, isolated full-depth pavement repairs, guardrail, and regrading of shoulder and ditches. The engineers estimate for the work is $1,017,773.00. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than July31, 2023. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Pickaway County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, and the State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Bid Conditions for OPWC-ASSISTED CONSTRUCTIONPROJECTS.
