Menifee Union School District (hereinafter MUSD ) is soliciting quotes from qualified firms to submit their qualifications and quotes for services ( Services ) for HVAC assessments, application submission, repair and maintenance, carbon dioxide monitor installation, MERV-13 filter installation, controls upgrades, reporting, and verification to be funded by the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency ( CalSHAPE ) Ventilation Program enacted under Assembly Bill 841. MUSD has successfully submitted its CalSHAPE applications and has received approved funding for twelve sites (Freedom Crest Elementary, Oak Meadows Elementary, Evans Ranch Elementary, Southshore Elementary, Herk Bouris Elementary, Harvest Hill S.T.E.A.M. Academy, Taawila Elementary, Menifee Middle, Chester W. Morrison Elementary, Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary, Ridgemoor Elementary, Bell Mountain Middle). All quotes shall be received at the District Office, 29775 Haun Rd., Menifee Ca 92586. Scope of Work: Upon award, the selected respondent will be required to perform all HVAC Contractor scope of work for the HVAC Assessment and Maintenance Pathway requirements included in the CA Energy Commission CalSHAPE Ventilation Program Guidelines. BID SECURITY: Bid security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract amount PREVAILING WAGES : Prevailing wages are applicable to the Project. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding.
