Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Sitka, Alaska. Design plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of December 23, 2024, a design firm has been selected for the project. Funding is currently sought through legislature. Timeline for bidding and construction is dependent on funding. If funding is obtained in 2025, bidding is estimated to take place in fall of 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The first phase of this project will include a Design Study report. This study will evaluate the feasibility and cost of four (4) options that UAS has identified. The study shall be a delivered document that gives a detailed cost of each of the options including the cost of the facility for the life of the building. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
