Solid Waste Collection, Transportation and Disposal Services and Recycling Collection, Transportation and Processing Services from Dwelling Units within Upper Allen Township Contract, Solid Waste Contract includes the collection of a contractor provided approximately ninety-six (96) gallon wheeled trash cart and a complement of up to 144 gallons in plastic bags, plastic or metal cans for solid waste. Upon request, contractor shall also provide one (1) approximately thirty-two (32) gallon or approximately sixty-four (64) gallon wheeled trash cart for solid waste in exchange for the ninety-six (96) gallon cart. Recyclable materials will be required to use a contractor provided approximately sixty-four (64) gallon wheeled trash cart or upon request, contractor shall provide one thirty-two (32) gallon wheeled cart for recyclables in exchange for the sixty-four (64) gallon cart, with Graduated Rate Structure Depending on Age/Income/Hardship. Proposals must be submitted upon forms furnished by the Township and must be sealed with proper identification of subject bid on the outside of the envelope. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of $50,000.00. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
