Pursuant to the provisions of HRS 103D-304 Procurement of Professional Service, the County of Kauai hereby provides public notice to invite persons engaged in the professional services listed below to submit current statements of qualifications and expressions of interest for the fiscal year 2022-2023. Professional Service/Occupation and Class: HRS 464 - Professional Engineers, Architects, Surveyors and Landscape Architects, GS-850 Electrical Engineering Description: Engineering firm with extensive knowledge in SCADA systems design for wastewater applications to conduct electrical design plan review on an as-needed basis for various projects and in varying phases within the project lifecycle. The selected firm must gain a thorough understanding of our current SCADA infrastructure, be able to conduct technical review (compatibility, constructability, etc.) and provide technical recommendations with respect to design parameters that can integrate with our existing SCADA system in the least disruptive/intrusive manner to our existing infrastructure. The County currently uses Glenmount Global Systems (GGS) as our SCADA integrator. Additional Criteria: In addition to the specific resume information called for,interested parties shall include the following information in their submittal: a. Previous SCADA design experience for projects on Kauai Estimated Contract Time: Multi-term 5 years The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
