Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Belmar, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of October 12, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $363,541.31** Work shall consist of the following approximate quantities: 8,620 square yards of pavement milling, 1,375 tons of HMA surface course, 620 linear feet of concrete curb, 155 square yards of various concrete work, ADA compliant curb ramps, concrete restoration, various drainage improvements, striping, together with miscellaneous other related work items. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company, payable to the Borough of Belmar, as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the bidder, he will, within ten days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as a partial satisfaction of liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon fulfillment of this re-quirement by the bidder. The checks of all bidders will be returned according to law. No interest shall be allowed upon any such check. Please be advised that funds through the Transportation Trust Fund Program are being utilized in this project. The award of the contract for this work will not be made until the necessary funds and permits have been provided by the Borough of Belmar in a lawful manner. Construction shall not begin until permits from NJDOT, NJ Transit and Monmouth County are approved, if required. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or waive any informality where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Borough of Belmar. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designed in the specification. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c,127., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), P.L. 1977, C-33 (Ownership Disclosure) and the American Disabilities Act. The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids or within such extensions of time as per!mitted by law.
