Project Description: The work comprises construction of approximately 10,500 linear feet of 18-inch PVC waterline in Bay Avenue and Kitching Street. Work shall also include approximately 7,800 linear feet of 12-inch PVC waterline in Kitching Street, Iris Avenue, Los Cabos Drive, Santiago Drive, Patricia Street, and Gentian Avenue. The work will also include auger bore construction at three locations; approximately 120 linear feet of 30-inch casing underneath two existing Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (RCFC&WCD) Reinforced Concrete Box Drains at the intersection of Kitching Street and Black Walnut Avenue, approximately 200 linear feet of 30-inch casing crossing the intersection of Kitching Street and Alessandro Boulevard, and approximately 100 linear feet of 24-inch casing crossing a RCFC&WCD Channel at the intersection of Kitching Street and Gentian Avenue. Work shall include all restrained joints, thrust blocks, valves, blowoffs, air valves, shoring and bracing per California Labor Codes, excavation, backfill, bedding, skids, casing spacers, grouting, pavement removal, pavement replacement and restoration per encroachment permits, trench and pipeline dewatering, pressure testing, traffic control, SWPPP, and other related appurtenant work. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications and contract drawings. Bonding Estimate: $7.5 Million - $9 Million *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
