The City of Redwood City is soliciting proposals for a recycled water auto fill station and related services. All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the proposal. Vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide a recycled water auto fill station system and related services. The fill station will be used by the City's residential recycled water customers. Vendor shall furnish a fill station system that meets all the following requirements: Ability to dispense recycled water Secure, controlled access using HID brand RFID (radio frequency identification) cards linked to City customer accounts Manual shutoff valve 4" control valve and meter Ability to generate any custom reporting as requested by the City Durable and tamper-proof card reader Displays guided, step-by-step instructions so that users can dispense water without supervision Temperature-controlled station to function reliably in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) Customizable to integrate with existing equipment, like flow meters and valves Integrates with management software so that the City can view graphs of the station's review and volume output in real time Ability to support online payments, if requested by the Recycled Water Superintendent or designee Manufactured in accordance with all local and applicable standards and shall be inspected as an "Industrial Control Assembly" with either UL508A or CSA label identification Total height shall be 68" Inquiries relating to this RFP and/or the required services should be directed to: Lily Ng Management Analyst 1400 Broadway Redwood City, CA 94063 Phone: 650-780-5971 Email: lng@redwoodcity.org Deadline for questions / clarifications Wednesday, September 7, 2022 by 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time Contract Award* October 2022 The term shall be four years from the effective date of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to determine which Proposal is, in the City's judgment and sole discretion, best suited to meet the City's needs, on the basis of demonstrated competence and on the professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the services required at a fair and reasonable price. The City also reserves the right to waive any informality in any Proposal and to delete certain items listed in the Proposal as set forth therein.
