Renovation of a detention facility in Buford, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Phillips State Prison J Building Showers Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) will accept electronic bids on behalf of the Georgia Department of Corrections (Owner) for the project entitled Phillips State Prison "J" Building Showers in strict conformity with bidding and contract documents. This project includes the installation of 8 shower doors and frames in the shower areas at Phillips State Prison. GSFIC will use the e-Builder Project Management system to receive, review and store contractor bids and supporting documents. Additional information on this process and a link to the project site is provided below in the Invitation to Bid document and the e-Builder Registration & Bid Submittal User Guide. Questions regarding the bidding documents, the bidding process should be submitted electronically. From the date that this Invitation To Bid (ITB) is issued until a bidder is selected and the selection is announced, there shall be no communication for any reason, except during the pre-bid conference, between a bidder and any State employee other than thecontracting officer listed regarding this ITB. GSFIC reserves the right to reject any bid for violation of this provision. GSFIC reserves the right to disqualify a potential bidder due to a failure by the bidder to arrive for the prebid conference by the scheduled time.
