Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cairo, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of November 23, 2022. The project has been awarded with the amount of $932,183.90. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed Utility Contractor by the State of Georgia. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Street Resurfacing - Phase 8 as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of +/- 6.0 miles of street resurfacing, striping, and raising of miscellaneous structures, and all associated measures for the complete project. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract with a 90 consecutive calendar day construction schedule. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 90 calendar days
