Provide all needed material, labor, equipment, etc. to do work as described in the attached scope of work for Driftwood removal. Work to be completed as soon as possible, weather permitting, but no later than November 15, 2022. The City of Piqua is requesting bids from qualified excavation contractors to remove all the driftwood under the Ohio to Indiana Bike Path Bridge and the Garnsey St. Bridge that are over the Great Miami River within the City of Piqua. There are two piers on the Ohio to Indiana Bridge and one pier on the Garnsey St. Bridge with debris around the flowline. All of the driftwood is to be removed from the sites and disposed of properly. The awarded contractor is responsible for obtaining an "MCD Short Term Land Use Permit" from the Miami Conservancy District: Contact Roxanne Farrier, MCD Property Administrator rfarrier@mcdwater.org, 937-223-1278. Ohio to Indiana Bridge: Small ramp will be required to enter water on the east side of the river, this can be accessed by entering the levy area on the southeast side of the East Main Street Bridge. Any work is to be coordinated with the City to ensure work will be done before civic events. All subsequent levy restoration from trucks or hoe tracks are expected to be repaired prior to de-mobilization. Garnsey St. Bridge: This area can be accessed by turning right on Bridge St. from S.
