Virgin Valley Water District (the "District") is seeking sealed bids for certain construction or work to be performed referred to as: Scenic East Tank Project, 2022 (the "Project"). The Project is to be performed within Clark County, Nevada. The following is a summary description of the Project: Project consists of construction of a 2-million-gallon welded steel tank for the District's culinary water system. Also included in the project scope is approximately 430 lineal feet of 16" - 24" waterline, drain lines, tank appurtenances, and earthwork. Bids must be submitted on the documents provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the Project, Attn: Kevin Brown, name of Bidder, Bidder's address. If the Bid is sent to the District by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in an outer mailing envelope addressed to the District at 500 Riverside Road, Mesquite, Nevada 89027. Pursuant NRS 338.147 or NRS 338.1389, as applicable, a Bidder seeking to qualify to receive a "preference in bidding" must submit a Nevada State Contractor's Board Certificate of Eligibility evidencing the preferential status. Said certificate must be attached to and submitted with the Bid. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in a Bid in the District's sole discretion to the extent allowed by law. Any award will be on the basis of the lowest responsible Bidder, unit price, conformance to plans and specifications, Bidder's qualifications, full and accurate completion of the Bid documents, the extent to which the District judges the Bid to be in the best interests of the public (338.143(5)(c)), and other appropriate factors as may be permitted by Nevada law.
