Install fiber optic cable according to the provided construction drawings. 2. Provide complete as-built drawings in electronic format, if they differ in any way from the provided construction drawings. 3. Apply for and obtain, on the City's behalf, any permits that may be required from the Alabama Department of Transportation, Alabama Power or other R.O.W. entities. The cost of these permits should be included in your bid. Abstract The City of Auburn ("City") is seeking a qualified firm to install fiber optic cable from the Water Resource Management building at 1501 West Samford Ave. to the Auburn Soccer Complex at 2340 Wire Road and continuing from there to the site of the new Public Works/Environmental Services complex at 3495 Wire Road (also known as Lee Road 137) as described in the attached construction drawings. This route makes use of existing facilities along Pumphrey Avenue and Samford Avenue. Bids are to include total pricing for the project, including any applicable fees and whatever make-ready is necessary to the existing fiber on Pumphrey Avenue and Samford Avenue to create a complete end-to-end optical pathway. Please submit both a base bid and an alternate on the Bid Submittal Form in section VII of this document. This ITB is part of a procurement process that helps us serve the City's best interests.
