Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Racine, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project will construct a new concrete stair and ramp access to Zoo Beach from the Lake Michigan Pathway, repair and reconstruct portions of the Lake Michigan Pathway, and construct a revetment to protect and restore the bluff. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Racine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregulari!ties or accept that bid which, in the opinion of the owner, will serve the best interest of the City. Bidders must be prequalified by the Commissioner of Public Works. Deadline for submitting a prequalification application is five (5) days prior to the time of bid opening. Forms are available either by emailing Kendra Marquez at Kendra.Marquez @cityofracine.org or by downloading Electronnically Racine Works Program details are available at City of Racine | Racine Works Program Prevailing Wage Rates may be required. Refer to the Labor Standards section of the Contract Documents to determine applicability of the Prevailing Wage Rate Regulations. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
