Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project consists of the demolition of two (2) residential structures owned by the district on district property. The two structures are located at 210 North 10th street and 1041 Laurel Street in Hamilton, IL 62341. Also included is the backfill of the site once the demolished structures are removed. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Work. A Bid Bond will be required. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission.
