Site work for a water / sewer project in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work comprises of the rehabilitation and/or replacement of ten sanitary manholes. The manholes are a source of Inflow and Infiltration. The associated piping consists mainly of large diameter concrete. The manholes have been surveyed and repair or replacement has been determined based on their condition. The repair of the sanitary manholes will be at a minimum, complete surface coating to prevent I&I. If replacement has been recommended the entire structure will be removed and replaced including the base structure. The replacement will require excavation and disposal of the existing manhole, concrete placement including new weirs, backfilling and restoration of excavation to match pre-existing conditions. Temporary piping and pumps will be required for pump-around during repair and/or replacement activities. Manhole replacement will include new pipe connections, and all appurtenances for a complete job. Clarification Deadline 9/15/2022 12:00 PM Bids will be reviewed at the MAJSA Board Meeting on September 21, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. Thereafter, Bid results will be available online
