Site work for a mixed-use development in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
To construct Work Package #1 of Centre Mountain Terrace (aka “Connector Road”). The works are part of an overall Local Services Area (LSA) providing improvements to the adjacent lands as well as accessing and servicing the Centre Mountain area. The scope of works generally includes the following: Earthworks and grading Construction of a new road approximately 300 meters (m) in length Municipal infrastructure servicing for the roads and lots including: Water main Sanitary Sewer Storm Drain Sidewalks Streetlights Landscaping New traffic signal on Happy Valley Road Widening of Happy Valley Road intersection including a cycling lane Other agency utility servicing within road and lots, including: BC Hydro Fortis Gas Shaw/Telus telecommunications A critical milestone is the watermain extension along Wild Ridge Way to the western limits of construction on Centre Mountain Terrace.
