As of October 19th, 2022, project was awarded to BDM Inc., with an awarded amount of $599,875.00. The projected and or tentative date for project to begin in set for 11/1/2022 - 11/15/2022. The work shall be confined in the Modernization, Removal, disposal and replacement of existing split HVAC units, per manufacture's recommendations and California Mechanical Code 2019, as per Specifications at the following House Authority owned project. Project/Location: Multiple Site Locations in Hanford and Corcoran, CA. (97 units total) Phase 1 Hanford Site: (Sunnyside Village, 1 bdrm., 625 s.f.) 45 UNITS Hanford Site: (Sunnyside Village, 3 bdrm., 1,464 s.f.) 30 UNITS FOR A TOTAL OF 75UNITS Phase 2 Corcoran Site: (Valley View Village, 1 bdrm, 625 s.f.) 12 UNITS Corcoran Site: (Valley View Village, 3 bdrm, 1,464 s.f.) 10 UNITS FOR A TOTAL OF 22 UNITS Bids to include, Bid Form, For of Non-Collusion, Previous Participation Form and acknowledgement of any addendum. A Certified Check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority of Kings County, U.S. Bonds, or a satisfactory Bic Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in the amount equal to ten (10) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, 100% each of the bid amount by the pre-construction meeting. The successful bidder shall furnish on site supervision for the duration of this project. The Housing Authority of Kings County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of Kings County.
