**As of October 4, 2022, project was awarded to TechOptics, awarded amount for ARES $118,931.21 and MAHS for $188,558.45** The owner intends to use the winning quote to cover intercom system replacement for 4 elementary and 2 high schools. The 4 elementary schools have the same floor plans, and the 2 high schools have the same floor plan. Quantities on parts may differ slightly, but per part pricing from quote will be used for any adjustments. The vendors, before submitting their quotes, should make a careful examination of the equipment requested and ensure that there are no foreseeable complications in regards to interoperability of varying components requested in the bid. Omissions in the proposal of any provision herein described shall not be construed as to relieve the bidder of any responsibility or obligation to the complete and satisfactory delivery, operation, and support of any and all equipment. Proposals must be valid for a minimum of 90 days following the due date of this bid. Vendor agrees to honor their bid prices regardless of the quantity of items purchased. We are requesting installation to begin by October 1 at ARES/MAHS and be completed by April 30, 2023 for all 6 schools. Vendor will work with Information and Technology Services Department contact to schedule workflow and coordinate timing with the schools administration. The intercom replacement project would consist of complete demolition of existing speakers, cabling, clocks, and headend system components. WCSD will provide 2x2 ceiling tiles and ceiling grid T-bars for schools that have 2x4 tiles Valcom system must be integrated with Mitel Phone system Valcom items must be from the list provided - no alternative vendors will be accepted or considered All cables will be pulled to the assigned closet Cat 6 network cables need to be terminated in patch panels in the closet and surface boxes in the ceiling - both should utilize Cat 6 Punch down modules - violet/purple in color Vendor will coordinate programming of the system, bell schedules, room grouping, and system user training with administration staff
