Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Lowville, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The scope includes: Addition and Renovations to the existing 2,178 s. f. Department of Motor Vehicles building on the corner of River Street and East Main Street in the Village of Lowville. The 3,334 s.f. +/- addition shall provide for the inclusion of the Board of Elections within the same facility. All bids shall be in a Sealed Envelope clearly addressed to the above and marked: "DMV / Board of Elections Addition / Renovation" and at the time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid opening time or any publicized postponement thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. In order to promote our established Affirmative Action Policy, we invite sealed bids from minority groups. This Affirmative Action Policy regarding sealed bids and contracts applies to all persons without regard to race, colour, creed, national origin, age, sex or handicap. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals.
