The City of Springfield Massachusetts through its Department of Public Works is seeking bid responses from qualified vendors to establish a Price Agreement to supply rock salt. All rock salt must be- as per ASTM designation D632-72 Type II grade 1 in lots as required and ordered during the period of November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023. The purpose of this IFB and any awarded contract(s) is to establish unit prices in order to meet the City requirements on the items listed on the provided pricing sheet. Selected vendor(s) must be able to furnish and deliver products to required locations, as decided by the DPW Director or his Designee, and must include all labor, supervision, tools, materials, insurance, profit and mileage fees within the proposed unit costs. Approximately 10,000 Tons of ASTM Standard D632-72 Rock Salt.
