Description

Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Anson, Wisconsin. Design plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

As of Nov 1, 2022, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start in May 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: AGENCY: Department of Natural Resources Location: Lake Wissota State Park, Town of Anson, Chippewa County PROJECT REQUEST: Select an A/E consulting firm to provide design and construction phase professional services associated with the design, demolition, and construction of Toilet Shower Buildings and Vault Toilets, along with associated utilities. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will replace the two existing toilet/shower buildings (buildings #1923 & #1924) with a new centrally located toilet/shower building serving the 116-unit campground. The existing vault toilets (buildings #1925, #1926, #1927, & #1928) will be demolished. New vault toilets will be constructed at the current location of the toilet/shower buildings. A parking area for the new toilet/shower building will be constructed. PROJECT SCHEDULE: A/E Selection Sept 2022 Design Report April 2023 SBC Approval June 2023 Bid Opening February 2024 Construction Start May 2024 Substantial Completion November 2024 Project Closeout May 2025
