As of October 19, 2022, project was awarded to Dig It Construction, awarded amount is $7,363,410.85. The work of this contract includes, but is not limited to, removing or abandoning existing piping, fittings, valves and water manholes, and hydrants and furnishing and installing approximately 12,000 feet of new six- to 30-inch diameter Class 52 ductile iron piping. The work of this contract also includes furnishing and installing new water service connections, fittings, valves, hydrants, connections to the existing water system, installing and removing temporary service pipe, all earthwork, dewatering and drainage, pavement replacement, wheelchair ramps, restoration, utility crossing, traffic management, miscellaneous work and cleanup, and all work required in the Contract Documents. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, SEWER & WATER, for the project with an estimated value will be required.
