Sealed Bids for the construction of: RT 817; OAKWOOD ESTATES & CARLS LANE WATERLINE UPGRADE PROJECT Contract No. 1 - Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction of approximately 2,300 feet of 8-inch waterline, 6,720 feet of 6-inch waterline, 395 feet of directional drilling, valves, hydrants and other related appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by James Evers (General Manager). A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier's check must accompany all Bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall comply with the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act and shall require all subcontractors to comply with that Act.
