Removal and replacment of approxiately 4,000 lnear feet of sidewalk pavement. Sidewalks vary in width from four to five feet. Also includes approximatley 410 square yards of driveway removal and replacment. Other work includes instalation of barrier free ramps, cross walk pavment markings, installation of sidewalk curb and retainaing walls, adjustment of water meaters and sanitary sewer cleanouts and miscellaneaous landscape repairs and sodding. This project generally includes approximately 4,000 linear feet of concrete sidewalk construction. Sidewalks will vary in width from four to five feet in width. The project also includes removal and replacement of approximately 410 square yards of concrete driveways. Other work includes construction of barrier free ramps, cross walk pavement markings, installation of sidewalk curbs and retaining walls, relocation of water meters, adjustment of sanitary sewer cleanouts and miscellaneous landscape repairs and sodding.Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upona national, state bank or savings and loan in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City of Waxahachie, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance bond and payment bond within ten (10) days afternotice of award of contract to him. The Owner will attempt to award the Contract within Ninety (90) daysfollowing the opening of bids. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance bond, a Material and Labor Payment Bond, all upon the form provided in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, and a 2-year Maintenance Bond provided in the amount of 10% of the contract price, from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety or other sureties acceptable to the Owner.
