Renovation of a transportation facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Requesting bids for a contractor to perform various improvements on three aircraft hangers to include; lighting, painting, and roof sealing. The Appleton International Airport(ATW) isseeking bidsfor a contractorto performvarious improvements on three aircraft hangars (T-Hangars). A contractor may bid all three components of the project; lighting upgrade, exterior painting and roof sealing. Or, a contractor may bid only one component. The award will be based on the low bidder for each component of the project. Lighting Upgrade Replace 86 existing fluorescent fixtures with new Lithonia- CLX14000LM SEF RDL MVOLT GZ10 40K 80CRI WH LED fixtures. Contractor shall supply LED fixtures and all necessary wire and supplies for installation. Provide a one-year workmanship and labor warranty. Exterior Painting-Properly prep the surface based on the requirements and recommendations set by the paint manufacturer. The previous finish was applied approximately 15 years ago and was a Sherwin Williams marine paint. Furnish and apply a water based epoxy or urethane paint/primer system designed specifically for metal buildings on three hangars that are approximately 14,364 sf, 21,320 sf and 18,096 sf of exterior walls, doors, metal sheeting/siding, soffits and trim (owner selects two colors).Contractor shall supply a system from one of the following manufacturers: PPG Industries or Sherwin-Williams. Supply all labor and equipment which may require (not limited to: ladders, sprayers, rollers, brushes, lifts or PPE) Contractor shall be very cognizant of overspray around these aircraft operational areas. If Contractor can't control overspray they will need to brush and roll these surfaces.Paint products shall have a minimum 25 year warranty against peeling, chalking and fading. Provide a one-year workmanship and labor warranty. Any questions that come up and require additional information will be posted online Silicone Roof Sealing Properly prep the surface based on the silicone coating brand requirements and recommendations. Including (but not limited to) patching, low-power pressure sprayer (1gal/sqft.), Power washing (min.2000 psi), and replacement of parts if compromising the roof system. Use mule-hide (or approved alternate) silicone coating designed for metal buildings.Furnish and apply a silicone designed for metal buildings on three hangars that are approximately 14,364 sf, 21,320 sf and 18,096 sf(owner selects one color). Supply with your bid the system specifications of the coating system. Apply primer, flashing grade, base and top coat as appropriate. Supply all labor and equipment which may be required (not limited to: ladders, sprayers, rollers, brushes, lifts or PPE) Products shall have a minimum 15 year warranty. Provide a one-year workmanship and labor warranty.
