As of January 6, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project includes the following Work: Reworking approximately 4,700 SY of existing asphalt pavement and removal of approximately 250 CY to reconstruct the existing asphalt pavement section with shoulders requiring 7,800 SY of base materials and 875 TN of asphaltic pavement. Work also includes removal and replacement of driveways and asphalt turn outs with associated striping and restoration improvements. Bids are requested for the following Contract: SCOP FY 22 Skelton Street Resurfacing. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. To be considered qualified, Bidder must be licensed to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Florida by the Construction Industry Licensing Board and must have successfully completed, as prime contractor, a minimum of 3 projects of a similar nature within the past 5 years, each having a minimum contract value of $250,000 with at least one project having a contract value in excess of $500,000. The Contractor must be prequalified with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to Section 337.14 F.S. and Chapter 14-22 FAC.
