Renovation of an educational facility in Richmond, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract consisting of General Construction, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning Construction, Electrical Construction. Bids received after the specified closing time will be logged in with time of receipt, opened, read aloud, and forwarded for appropriate action by the Board, with full reservation of the Board to reject any or all Bids due to the lateness. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, will be required. Wage scale per the Davis Bacon Act see specifications. The Bid, bid security, and other documents required to be submitted with the Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope. The envelope shall be addressed to the party indicated below and shall be identified with the Project name, division of work and the Bidder's name and address. If the Bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation "SEALED BID ENCLOSED" on the face thereof.
