Renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Removal and replacement of three boilers at Test Middle school, including replacement of flues through the existing roof. There are three (3) Alternates at Test Middles School. One for replacement of Hot Water Pumps. Another for replacement of Chilled Water Pumps. And another for removal of the existing steam boiler. Removal and replacement of a chiller at Charles Elementary. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project shall be constructed under a single prime contract. C. This project is being funded by ESSER. As a result, Davis-Bacon Wage Rates apply. Refer to the appropriate specification sections. No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the Specifications. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed to LWC, Inc., 712 East Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374 or by email to Kevin R. McCurdy, kmccurdy@lwcinspires.com . No inquiry received within ten (10) days of the date fixed for opening of bids will be given consideration. Boiler Replacement and Charles Elementary - Chiller Replacement All bids must be filed on the required State Form 96, properly signed and executed as evidence of financial responsibility and filed with Karen Scalf, Chief Financial Officer, of Richmond Community Schools at 300 Hub Etchison Parkway, Richmond, Indiana 47374. Fgeh bidder shall submit either a bond, money order, cashiers check or certified check for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to Richmond Community Schools. Facsimile delivered bid forms will not be accepted. All bids must be made in compliance with the laws governing such matters and the Board of School Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid, not necessarily the low bid, or to accept bids on one or more separate items
