Maximum Limiting Contract: The award amount and contract performance bond shall be based on maximum limiting budgeted amount of $250,000.00 and not the contractors bid total. Performance Bond: A Contract / Performance bond is required for this project. Required Submittal With Bid: Drainage Experience Form 850-070-05 Must Be Submitted With the Bid. General Liability: The limits of coverage shall not be less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence and not less than a $5,000,000 annual general aggregate, inclusive of amounts provided by an umbrella or excess policy. The limits of coverage described herein shall apply fully to the work or operations performed under the Contract, and may not be shared with or diminished by claims unrelated to the contract. The policy/ies and coverage described herein may be subject to a deductible. Pay all deductibles as required by the policy. No policy/ies or coverage described herein may contain or be subject to a Retention or a Self-Insured Retention. Electronic bids are requested for a Budgetary Ceiling contract to provide Maintenance of Traffic along the State Roadway System in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each item to be bid. The Department's estimated quantities and the Contractors' bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder; however, actual payment under the awarded contract will based on actual quantities completed.
