Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in West Pennington, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of constructing approximately Base Course 81 Ton, Asphalt Concrete Composite 42 Ton, Class A45 Concrete 210.1 CuYd, Reinforcing Steel 13,356 Lb, Epoxy Coated Reinforcing Steel 18,565 Lb, Type 101 Bridge Railing 132 Ft, Class B Riprap 415.3 Ton, Type B Drainage Fabric 389 SqYd and other various bid items . Provide a 5% bid security in accordance with the instructions to Bidders. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bid security and acknowledgements. Any deficient Bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, to hold all bids for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of opening bids and to rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received. All bids will be contained in a sealed envelope plainly marked showing the envelope contains a Bid for the above project. Provide on the exterior of the bid envelope the following information: Work covered by the bidder, name of the bidder and acknowledgement of the addenda, if applicable. Contracts will be awarded on the basis of the lowest responsible bid submitted by a responsible bidder for the aggregate sum of all bid items. One (1) Contract will be awarded for the work. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Contract Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
