Site work and paving for a civil project in Kingman, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The amount programmed for this contract is $ 11,717,000. The proposed project is located in Mohave County on eastbound I-40, starting at Milepost 82.94 and extending east to Milepost 83.89. The bridge is located approximately 8.6 miles east of Junction I-40/US 93 between the Town of Seligman and City of Kingman at MP 83.60. The proposed work consists of removing the existing Willow Creek Bridge No. 3 and replacing it with a three-span precast concrete girder bridge. The proposed work also consists of realigning and reconstructing eastbound I-40 on the approach and departure ends of the bridge. The work includes: roadway excavation, constructing embankment, drainage improvements, asphaltic concrete pavement and Asphaltic Concrete Friction Course (ACFC) overlay, pavement marking, signing and other related work.
