The Village of Rhinebeck Requests bids to remove 24 trees and grind their stumps; grind 2 existing stumps; and prune two trees. (see list below) Due to traffic concerns, it is preferred that work should be scheduled for Tuesdays, if possible and conditions allow. All work is to be completed by Oct 15, 2022. All bids will be publicly opened and read and awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Proposal Requirements: Fixed-price quote A copy of applicable insurance certificates to include proof of general liability coverage and Worker's Compensation Coverage in compliance with State of NY guidelines.Because the work is along a State road the contractor will become a Joint Applicant with the Village of Rhinebeck on NYS DOT PERM 33 (no utility). The Village has begun the application process. Additional requirements from the NYS DOT: Forms (ACORDS 25/855/Workers' Comp & Disability) must be completed by the contractor A guaranteed deposit, bank/certified check (to returned after satisfactory completion of work) of $5,000.00 is required from the contractor Prevailing wage must be paid according to New York State Law.Rejection of Proposals: The Village of Rhinebeck reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, as it, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate.
