This Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Delaware Department of Transportation is for the purpose of acquiring Proposals from qualified firms to provide project development and design services for the US 40, Pulaski Highway, and SR 7, Bear-Christiana Road project. This intersection has been tracked as a part of the US 40 Corridor Monitoring Program. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and operations through geometric improvements, with a potential for a grade-separated interchange. A twelve percent (12%) DBE goal has been established for the sum total of all federally-funded tasks associated with this Agreement. The Department will require ongoing reviews and approval of good faith efforts before a Notice to Proceed is issued. Department DBE Program staff will monitor this Agreement to ensure that good faith efforts are being made to meet the DBE goal. DBE firms must be certified through DelDOT's DBE Program in order to qualify toward meeting the goal. Deadline for Questions to ensure response: Ten (10) business days prior to the proposal due date 2:00 P.M.
