Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bear, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The time and location of the bid opening may be extended with a minimum of two (2) calendar days notice by electronic means to those bidders who obtained copies of the plans and specifications. This package involves upgrades to exterior doors to (6) district facilities for Christina School District. All questions concerning the project shall be sent in writing, to the attention of: Kelly Lucas, BSA+A, E-mail klucas@simpers.com. Conformance to the Delaware Architectural Accessibility Act and the standards of the Architectural Accessibility Board is required on the Project. Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable Bid Bonds and Performance are required. The last day to submit questions and substitution requests is September 14, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. The last day to issue an addendum is September 18, 2020. Pursuant to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) "4104 Regulations for the Drug Testing of Contractor and Subcontractor Employees Working on Large Public Works Projects" requires that Contractors and Subcontractors who work on Large Public Works Contracts funded all or in part with public funds implement a Mandatory Drug Testing Program. This applies only to work related to affixing items directly to the structure of the building. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
