A/E design services for renovations to Stubbs ES, Bayard MS & Bancroft ES under the Wilmington Schools Improvement Plan. Stubbs ES will transition to a dual-generation center, housing early education classrooms as well as an adult education wing. Bancroft ES will transition from a PK-5 school to a 1-8 grade configuration. Bayard MS will transition from a 6- 8 school to a 1-8 grade configuration. The project will include space reorganization, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & ADA upgrades. All work will be completed utilizing an A/E & GC (General Contractor) format. To be considered, all proposals must be submitted in writing and respond to the items outlined in this RFQ. The District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-conforming proposals. Each proposal must be submitted with four (4) paper copies and one (1) electronic copy on CD or DVD media disk, or USB memory drive. Please provide a separate electronic pricing file from the rest of the RFQ proposal responses. The proposing vendor bears the risk of delays in delivery. The contents of any proposal shall not be disclosed as to be made available to competing entities during the negotiation process. Upon receipt of vendor proposals, each vendor shall be presumed to be thoroughly familiar with all specifications and requirements of this RFQ. The failure or omission to examine any form, instrument or document shall in no way relieve vendors from any obligation in respect to this RFQ. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
