Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
Project consists of but is not limited to demolition, site work, utility work and construction of new educational facility. Once new facility is complete, demolition of existing facility will commence. As of October 24, 2022, the construction manager has put a change order before the board for approval. Subcontract trades have been let & set up to phase 2 with the exception of wood flooring, epoxy resinous flooring and stage equipment. These trades are expected to bid publicly in January 2023. Construction of the new school commenced spring 2022 and is anticipated to complete June 2024. Demolition of existing Bancroft School building is anticipated to begin June 2024 and be completed by October 2024.
