El Procurement Specialist Data Service Center lel@dataservice.org All questions and answers will be posted on the State of Delaware website Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to install up to a total of 25 access points in each of our schools (one per school) utilizing Mist AP43 (or equal) wireless access points and associated CAT6a cabling to connect the access points to the closest wiring closet in each school. Vendor is responsible for installation, configuration, testing and documentation of all cabling and access points as part of this project. The district has predetermined the general locations for the access points. Vendor may submit a proposal to provide the access point hardware AND/OR installation of CAT6a cabling and CAT6a patch panels. Indoor CAT6a cabling is to be green, and the vendor will need to provide a minimum of a 5-foot white CAT6a patch cable to connect the AP to the data drop. Cabling vendor is responsible for installation, termination, testing and documentation of all cabling as well as the mounting of the access points. Each cable is to be labeled as per Red Clay technology dept. instructions. Cabling test results must be submitted to the Red Clay technology dept prior to submitting the invoice for the project. Cabling vendors must be on the State of Delaware approved contract for Data and Voice Structured Cabling, Contract No. GSS21441-DATA_CBL. The project is contingent upon receiving ERATE Category II funding for internal connections in the 2022 filing year. If ERATE Category II funding for internal connections is not granted, the project will not proceed, and all proposals will be denied. The purchase will occur after the District receives the award information concerning ERATE. Performance and payment bonds are required for materials or non-professional service contracts, unless reduced or waived as stated in the bid specifications. Contracts for less than $25,000 may contain a waiver of the bond requirement provided the successful vendor posts with the State an irrevocable letter of credit or other suitable or readily collectible financial security for the project. Such letter of credit or other security shall be issued for a term commencing simultaneously with the execution of the formal contract and terminating no later than 3 years, subsequent to the date of delivery of such material or non-professional service or to the extent of the warranty period, whichever is greater. In no event shall such security expire without the express written approval of the State. When required, the successful bidder shall simultaneously with the execution of the formal contract, execute a good and sufficient Performance and Labor and Materials bond to the State of Delaware for the benefit of the District(s), with corporate surety authorized to do business in this State, in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price
