Site work for a road / highway in Burns Lake, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The proposed contract requires sealed tenders for the following work: FSR 9772-12 – The new construction of 0.3 km of road. Site will be closed to all traffic during the construction project. This work will include RoW clearing, site preparation, roadway and drainage excavation, culvert installation, subgrade compaction and final grading FSR 9772-12 – Graveling of 3.1 km of FSR with a 30cm lift of pit run aggregate. This work will include pit development, loading, transporting, spreading and compacting of pit run aggregate. FLTC TA2218 will be issued in conjunction with this contract. The FLTC TA2218 is estimated to be approx. 250m3 of mixed conifer with a stumpage rate of $40.19/m3 for the term of the FLTC. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
