PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construct spot safety improvements as shown on the construction drawings, inclusive of pavement markings, signage and ADA curb ramp replacement. The construction drawings for this project are comprised of two (2) individual drawing sets: FY22 Spot Improvements - Multiple Locations and FY22 Spot Safety Improvements - Laura Duncan Road Striping. All other project documents apply to both drawing sets. All improvements shall be constructed in accordance with Cary Standard Specifications and Details. The successful bidder will be required to. Prepare and implement a traffic control plan for each site Perform surface preparation, including selective demolition and obliteration of pavement markings Replace ADA ramps in accordance with NCDOT Standard Drawings. Install post-mounted traffic signage and pavement markings in accordance with NCDOT and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) This project will be executed in accordance with the Town of Cary Standard Terms and Conditions and using the Cary small construction agreement, a sample of which is attached for reference.
