Renovation of a mixed-use development in Whitby, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development; and warehouse / distribution facility.
This Invitation to Tender (the "ITT") is an invitation by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (the "LCBO") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Structural Reinforcement of Storage Bays at the Durham Retail Service Centre (RSC). Brief Scope of Work: The scope of work is for the supply, delivery and installation of structural reinforcement plates in twelve (12) tunnels which will be separated into two (2) phases, Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 1 for the initial tunnel, which is expected to commence on October 15, 2022 and be completed by November 6, 2022. Upon completion and acceptance by the LCBO of Phase 1 (Initial Tunnel), the LCBO shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to have the selected bidder complete Phase 2, which is optional. The scope of Phase 2, which is expected to commence on the first week of January 2023 with an estimated completion date of March 2023, will consist of supply, delivery and installation of structural reinforcement plates in a further 11 tunnels. The scope of work for Phase 2 is optional only and will be completed by the selected bidder only if the LCBO elects in its sole discretion to proceed with all or part of Phase 2.
