For Marvin Braud Pump Station Protection Levee Elevation and Upgrades Qualifications Statement Engineering Services Ascension Parish is seeking is soliciting qualification statements for engineering services to assist the Parish with preliminary engineering, design engineering, and inspections of this project in compliance with Disaster Recovery CDBG-MIT Program requirements. The agreement will be on a lump sum, fixed price basis (or cost reimbursement not to exceed basis), with payment terms to be negotiated with the selected offeror. Reimbursement for services will be contingent on the Parish receiving funding from the OCD/DRU. The maximum amount of engineering fees that can be with Disaster Recovery CDBG-MIT funds will be determined by the OCD/DRU and may require adjustments in the proposed contract amount. Businesses and Firms who are interested in providing services requested under this RFQ must submit one (1) signed unbounded original and seven (7) bound copies of qualifications by the date and time specified. The information shall be received in hard copy (printed) version. Failure to submit the required number of copies may result in a finding of non-conformance. Originals should be clearly marked. All questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 4:00 PM on September 16, 2022. Responses will be coordinated with the RFP Coordinator and posted on the electronically by 4:00 PM on September 21, 2022. The Ascension Parish Government shall not be responsible if the bidder cannot complete and submit an RFQ due to failure or incomplete delivery of the files submitted via the internet. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any responses to Bids, Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals for just cause. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
