Salt Lake County, on behalf of the Surveyor's Office, the "County" is soliciting proposals from qualified firms "Proposer / Contractor" to perform monument installations and/or surveying services as part of a qualified pool of contractors. This Expedite RFP is intended to provide interested Proposers with sufficient minimum requirements. The requirements in the Scope of Work for this RFP are not intended to limit a proposal's content or creativity. Proposers may submit innovative ideas, new concepts, and optional features in response to this RFP. Proposers are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to give additional evidence of their ability to provide the services requested in this Expedite RFP. However, Proposers must address the needs and requirements stated in the Scope of Work of this Expedite RFP. The award of additional features beyond the minimum requirements is in the County's sole discretion and will be clearly identified in the resulting contract if it is deemed appropriate by the County and falls in line with the initial Expedite RFP Scope of Work. The Surveyor's Office administers programs and performs surveying services in support of county, state, federal, municipal and quasi-government agencies. Surveying services include collecting evidence for legal analysis; gathering and processing data to support project design and construction; review and approve final local entity/annexation plats; preserve property boundaries, rights-of-way, and Public Land Survey System (PLSS); and manage the Monument Permit program. Additionally, these services support the County's identification, acquisition, and conveyance of real property and rights-of-way To support the efforts of the Surveyor's office and its mission the County is looking to establish a pool of contractors to perform monument installation and/or surveying services that can be assigned from this pool on an as needed basis depending upon work volume and capacity. For each project, a letter or email will be sent to each Contractor in the pool, notifying them of the details of the project. The Contractors will submit a bid as requested for funded projects based on the scope of work document for that project. The County will evaluate each bid and Projects will be awarded based on total cost, scheduling, and the Contractor's availability to perform the work. Salt Lake County reserves the right to reject or require additional pricing for projects on an as-needed basis. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
