The Commission is issuing a call for tenders for the snow and ice removal service for the parking lots at the head office and the Montreal regional office. Purpose of the Call for Tenders The Commission is looking for a Supplier for the provision of snow and ice removal services for parking areas, access roads (entrance and exits from the Site), sidewalks, access ramps for people with reduced mobility, access ramps to delivery docks and access doors to buildings, its head office and its Montreal regional office. The Services relate to the buildings of its head office and the Montreal regional office, located respectively at 8485, av. Christophe-Colomb and at 1201, boul. Cremazie East in Montreal. The buildings are adjacent to each other and are connected by a walkway at the 2nd floor level, under which is laid a sidewalk. The areas to be cleared total approximately 17,100 m2 (184,062 sq. ft . ). The parking lots represent a total of 368 outdoor spaces, including 109 spaces located in a covered parking lot but not sheltered from the weather. Without limiting the foregoing, the Bidder must ensure that the provision of these Services, including the supply of the Products, is carried out in accordance with these Bidding Documents and in compliance with the terms and conditions stipulated in the Contract attached as Annex IX. All the conditions of this Call for Tenders are contained in the Call for Tenders Document which can be obtained now on the call for tenders system. This Call for Tenders is not subject to the provisions of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (CQLR c. C-65.1), the Commission does not spend public funds, it being financed on the basis of levies on remuneration paid to employees by employers in the construction industry.
