This request for tender ("RFT") is an invitation by Toronto Public Library ("the library") to pre-qualified general contractors, from 127-21-TPL-RFSQ General Contractor VOR L2, to submit bids for the provision of Toronto Reference Library Bike Cage, Administration Windows & Fire Doors Construction. Includes repairs/modifications to the bicycle enclosure located on the north side of the building along Collier St., repairs/replacement of the directors' offices glazing at ground floor east elevation of the building and ground floor emergency doors repair and replacement. Directors' Offices Glazing Replacement: - Glazing systems repair and replacement at the east elevation ground floor directors' offices to address leakage and water infiltration into 4 Directors' offices; including new aluminum sloped glazing framing system complete with and replacement of all metal panels and insulated glazing units. Interior offices painting and new blinds are also included. Bicycle enclosure: - Enhancements to the existing bicycle enclosure to include new interior partition to create a dedicated storage for operations equipment, new doors, new lights, security and related electrical work, new bike racks and related flooring work, replacement of existing glazing with new metal panels and changes to adjacent landscaping. Emergency Exit Doors: - Repair and replacement of steel framed exit doors as specified.
